Yesss - really a fine pool + fun + restaurant + sports area - one of the best for such a "normal" residence - not ONLY just a pool - this is great. Enjoy your evening dinner or sundowner after swimming or a long cool shower - and feel good. Yep.

This is a great place to have a holiday & came with a mate this time, my parents & I had been going for 29 years to Lago Jardin since I was a wee lad at three years old in 1989 when LJ1 was first built. I only had a 7 year gap because I have been going to other apartments within Torrevieja but I honestly can say, service, food, atmosphere & the recent refurb of the main swimming pool is excellent. John that owns bar (correct if I'm wrong) is a top bloke to talk too & asks if you're ok. Keep up the good work John and looking after LJ1.

While initially i left 3 stars as per my review below, i went back to the place and absolutely loved it. Our waiter Max was amazing, suggesting a nice dish for me, he was pleasant, always with a smile on his face, a great guy ! The food was very nice, next time I will try paella. And the karaoke was brilliant as well. Pros: the food was pretty decent and we tried quite few stuff. Everyone at our table was happy with their food. The waiter from south America was lovely, very polite and mannered (10 stars for him). Negatives : long waiting time to order the food. More than 40 min just to have someone taking our food order. However, once we managed to skip this faze, the food came pretty quickly. The tall waiter seemed a bit abrupt and unhappy. Makes you feel uncomfortable. I could read few negative reviews about him, and people are saying he is the owner. I hope he is not the owner as with that attitude he should stay at home and let his staff do their job as they are definitely better at customer service which he is lacking. Overall, decent food, fair prices, nice pool view, some of the staff really lovely, including the guy at the bar and another lady who's name i didn't get.

Mainly the breaded chicken (chicken snitzel) I love the most, it’s moist and well prepared and cooked. The immaculate attentiveness of the young male waiter we appreciated the most. His level of service is certainly top notch. It’s certainly recommended when you are in the neighbourhood and staying close to this humble establishment.
